Global community is a word that is being used more frequently because the world is being connected through one network. All nations have become like one communicating back and forth with each other, which has been made possible through high speed internet that exceeds both time and space. Keeping in step with the times, internet plays a growing role in evangelism, and more prophets are needed to display the glory of God in the internet world.

On January 15, Tnd gelismhe 2nd Internet Homepage Contest Awarding Ceremony was held at the New Jerusalem Temple. The awards were given to 10 superior entries in 3 categories based on web design, web program and animation. Entries were received last year between November 10th and 25th through the internet and mail.

The contest judges who were designated from the Internet Mission Department focused mainly on creativity and originality of the finished products. In comparison with the 1st Internet Homepage Contest that was held 2 years ago, the number of entries increased and the technique became more advanced. Approximately 150 seats were fully packed by the contestants and people who were associated with the home page. They could see that this was the age of internet mission.

During the service, which was held before the awarding ceremony, Mother acknowledged the efforts of the members of Internet Mission Department and encouraged them, saying that many blessings are stored up for them in heaven. And Mother also said, The people in the world get to realize the effect of laughter which is taught by God. We should always laugh delightfully because we have been saved and have become the children of God. Mother told us to share laughter with our neighbors and bear abundant fruit.

After listening to the wisdom of Mother, all the attendants made a resolution to be joyful always and give thanks to God for His salvation in order to receive Gods blessing and bear fruit of the Holy Spirit.

The awarding ceremony was held right after the service. First prize, second prize and third prize were given for each category. The attendants congratulated the awardees with a big round of applause whenever their names were called. One spectator who was watching the ceremony said, The gospel seems to keep pace with the development of the Internet. I want to be used as an instrument for the gospel with my God-given talent.

Head Pastor Joo-Cheol Kim said, I feel great to see many experts on Internet gather here in Zion. I earnestly want you to lead the gospel via the Internet by using your talents given by God. To the attendants who heartily congratulated the awardees, Head Pastor gave words of praise, saying, Those who praise and encourage others make happy families and a better society. I would like all members in Zion to praise and congratulate one another with great joy. If you work for the gospel with a beautiful mind, you will all be greatly blessed.

After the awarding ceremony, the attendants watched a video showing the sacrifice of Christ. They shed tears of repentance, seeing how much Father suffered to save His lost children on this earth, preaching the new covenant, the truth of eternal life. One of the attendants said, Father sowed the seeds of life through sacrifice, prayers and tears, but until now Ive not walked the same path that Father trod. I want to be a child who shares in Fathers sacrifice and bears good fruit through sacrifice.

The awardees gave glory to God and said that they were very happy to participate in Gods work, though weak and feeble.

Brother Sahng-Seung Lee, who was awarded the first prize in web design, said, There are numerous lies on the Internet that seem true and they make the netizens, who are seeking for the truth, confused. I want to bear fruit by distinguishing truth from lies and revealing them on the Internet.

These days, we can see world news and gain a tremendous amount of information via the Internet. In this Internet age, the gospel of the new covenant is rapidly spreading throughout the whole world. If all of us joyfully preach the gospel as Gods fellow workers by using our God-given talents, then the whole world will laugh together for the joy of being saved.
