Busan city has recently published a White Paper entitled "A Challenge Towards Equality" to celebrate the success of the 8th Busan FESPIC Games. The book over 760 pages contains massive contents such as the Games' overview, operation, achievement & assessment and stories behind the stage.

Ahn Sang-yeong, Mayor of Busan, said, "This sports festival has played an important role in making a better society in which the disabled and non-disabled can live together in harmony without prejudice," in the book preface. And he handed over the success and honor to the supporters who cared for athletes from arrival to departure and cheered them at the games with warm heart.

More than 50 pages of the book relate to the supporters of Church of God, including photos and articles of their support activities. Pictures of their various cheering motions and WE♥U card section at the closing ceremony are posted on the first part of the book.

Moreover, the book introduces reports and pictures of the supporters' daily volunteer activities during the week and some impressive postscripts of supporters in the chapter of 'behind story of festival.'

On the list of merit awards winners, Kim Joo-cheol, Chairman of Church of God, who won the Presidential Citation Award and pastors of Church of God, Pyo Gie-sahng and Han Yong-jo who both won the Ministerial Citation from the Ministry of Health & Welfare are registered.

The remarkable news articles covering support activities of Church of God members are printed on the supplement inside the book.

More than half of the White Paper of the 8th Busan FESPIC Games covers the activities of members of Church of God, thanks to their constant enthusiastic cheers and the biggest scale of 17,000 man-days among the citizen support groups. Their efforts were enough to touch the hearts of disabled and officials from abroad.

Besides the cheer, members of Church of God built a solid friendship with each team. They welcomed the athletes and officials at the airport and hosted dinner party for several teams. They gave gifts to the athletes and went out to the airport to say good bye to them.
