On June 19, the 18th New Jerusalem New Song Festival was held at the Okcheon Training Institute Auditorium. While the sun was hidden by the clouds now and then under a typical weather of the early summer, 3,400 members including choir members gave glory and praise to God with new songs. In this festival participated around 30 overseas members who were visiting Korea to study the words of truth.

Firstly, a worship service for the festival was held at 1 p.m. and next the festival began with a grand musical performance of Messiah Orchestra. 15 choirs with 80 members in each had a competition in good faith. Following "Karis Choir" who testified to the Savior with a new song, the choirs such as "Hephzibah," "David," "Philo se," "Seven Thunders," "Ebenezer," "Everybody Very Shinny," "To Heaven," "World Mission," "Linen," "Rose of Sharon," "Aha," "Sound of Heaven," "Come, Nations!" and "Five Oceans and Six Continents' sang praise to God with joy.

Before going onto the stage, the choir members showed their resolution, saying, "We are very nervous. We are not good at singing, but we will do our best, believing that God will give us ability." In this festival, the conducts of the conductors were also marked. The members concentrated on every baton, gesture and signal of the conductors.

A special performance was staged by the little angels of "Children's Choir of the Church of God." And the special praise by the overseas brothers and sisters was also very impressive. An overseas member expressed her emotion and delight, saying, "I always wanted to sing the new song loudly. I've been overwhelmed to meet Mother. I can't believe that I am meeting God and my lost brothers and sisters in the Land of the Prophecy now. I give thanks to God for giving me an opportunity to experience the love of brothers and sisters through this wonderful festival."

Every team was awarded, and the grand prize was given to "Everybody Very Shinny" from Jeonbuk Association; they sang to God in English, keeping up with the global mission. Pastor Jong-oh Park leading the choir said with a big smile, "We've practiced the new song with a resolution that we will please God and move all the brothers and sisters around the world. I think that the grand prize was given to us because our hearts were delivered to them all. I give thanks to God for giving us this great prize even though we are still not good enough. We will try to be united and praise God all the more and will obey God's will and reveal the glory of Father and Mother."

The overseas members sang "The Last Secret" in tears and gave great impression to the audience. They received a special guest prize with a loud applause. They thanked God with tears, saying, "We sang a new song in this blessed place where we can see Mother whom we have been missing only in our dream. Singing the new song, we were determined to preach boldly our Father and Mother the Christ who are the last secret. When we return to our country, we will bear abundant fruit with the enthusiasm learned from Korean brothers and sisters."

On this day Mother gave teachings, "The new song functions as a catalyst to spread the gospel to the whole world. Preach the gospel quickly to the whole world, taking this festival opportunity. Now people of the world are praising God with the new song as Isaiah prophesied. Believe the prophecy of the Bible more firmly, put on the full armor of the words and be alert and self-controlled so that you can repel the devil's schemes."
