“Being a Prepared Worker for God”

First I want to thank Father and Mother for allowing me to go and experience this short term preaching mission.

It was actually my third time, and I can say that I have learned something different from each one of them. There were twenty of us sent on this great mission to Central Jersey. This area holds many colleges and universities, including one of the most prestigious in the United States, Princeton University. Through this most recent mission I can truly say that I felt Father and Mother’s power, and that most certainly, Their words are truth.

I remember one of the first times I met Mother, almost eleven years ago. The one thing that She said that has always stayed with me is this: “Many people will be coming from the west.” At that time it was so hard to imagine. But now, true to Mother’s word, it is being fulfilled. I am most thankful because I am allowed to take part in this amazing prophecy.

Through the grace of Father and Mother we were able to lead sixteen souls back into Mother’s arms in only five days. Here in America this is so amazing to us because so many Americans have such hardened minds towards the words of God. But now with the truth and Mother’s words calling out to them, their hearts are softening and their minds becoming open.

During this mission I think that I may have preached ‘the secret of the forgiveness of sins’ to listening ears at least ten times a day. I never once tired of preaching the words of truth, but in turn was reminded of who I was every time. I am a sinner, a captive to this world whose only goal is to return back to my heavenly home. Thanks to Elohim, I have been given the gift of eternal life. But I have to think about all the others-my brothers and sisters who are out there longing for the same thing.

I remember Psalms 126:1-3: “When the Lord brought back the captives to Zion we were like men who dreamed. Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, ‘The lord has done a great thing for them.’ The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” How true! We are all brought to Zion and we are so joyful to know Elohim God and the great things They have done for us. And still what runs through my mind is all the heavenly family members who are still out there.

Another thing that I’ve learned is that I cannot be arrogant in delivering the words of God. The message of eternal life was delivered to me in a humble way, and I must do the same. I know there are ways that I must still be changed. I always thought to myself, “I have changed. I keep all the Feasts of God. I preach . . . I do so many things.” But now I have realized that change never stops. Change is a permanent thing. So then how do I deliver the word of God? This is what I need to change. I remember myself being preached to the first time. I didn’t understand anything that the brother and sister were saying to me, but I followed them because they were so happy and joyful in delivering the message to me. Then I have to do this as well.

On this short term mission we all became one in unity and everyone was so joyful and worked together with one mind, and through this Father and Mother led us to the fruit. In every mall and at every university and college there were baptisms, even in Princeton, an Ivy League University. It’s one of the top theological institutes in the country, with a ‘Seminary’ course that many take in the hopes of becoming a future church leader. They have much worldly knowledge, but when confronted with God the Mother they were clueless. And amazingly, one brother humbled himself to God, forgetting his own knowledge, and came to our hotel and was born as a child of God.

It seems as though now so many are returning to God that we are the fishers of men letting down our nets. Many are now coming and will continue to come, and I truly want to be prepared.

We were very busy each day, sometimes even trying to schedule the baptisms at the same time, or traveling to the other side of town to study. Through this a concern came up. I received a phone call saying, “Please come . . . Hurry . . . there is someone here who really wants to study!” At that time I had to reply that I could not because I was already with someone. We tried to arrange but everyone that could teach was already doing so, so I told her, “You must teach.” I heard a sudden gasp, silence and then a ‘God bless you’ to end the call.

How many will or have been delayed because we are not prepared to welcome them or deliver the words of truth to them. I am so sorry to Father and Mother for taking so long myself to learn. Even now I know I will never stop studying. So now I pray that I will always deliver this good news with joy and happiness.

We can do nothing on our own, but with our God, Elohim, we can do all things. Our strength is in the name of our Father, the Maker of heaven and earth, and in the love of our Mother, the New Jerusalem.
All glory, praise and thanks to You, our heavenly Father and Mother!
