Our Church is just like the Early Church. We keep the Sabbath and the Passover which Jesus kept. We observe the truths of the Early Church.”
These are the first things to come out of our mouths when we preach to the people in Colombia.
Colombia acknowledges the freedom of religion; 90 percent of its population follows Catholicism and the whole nation is com-posed of parishes. There are many denominations, and people are skeptical about other denominations and tend to stay exclusive to their own church. They are even cautious of us who preach the truth. That’s why we tell them that we keep the truths of the Early Church first.
Those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for dark-ness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter, now distinguish truth from falsehood—the way of life from the way of death; they are recovering the pure truths of the Early Church.
Just as the Ninevites, who’d worshiped idols, repented of their sins and came to God, so too are the Colombians turning from their idols and coming back into the arms of God. Now I would like to share this good news with brothers and sisters around the world.
God Prepared All ThingsI started the overseas gospel work in Chile. When I was in Korea, I thought I was lacking in ability and dared not volunteer for the overseas gospel mission. So when God called me for the overseas mission, I felt like I was in a dream. I believed that all things would be taken care of if God called me.

I became accustomed to the Spanish language and the culture of South America with the help of the native brothers and sisters. Then, last October, I went to Barranquilla in Colombia.
Barranquilla is an industrial port city on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. On arriv-ing in the city, I felt it was the best place God had prepared for the gospel.
Barranquilla was the hometown of a sister living in New York. During her vacation, she visited Barranquilla and preached the gospel to her family and relatives. Even after she returned to New York, she continually shared the words of truth with her family through the phone. When she heard that we would go to Barranquilla, she told us that two of her family members wanted to study the words of God with us.
At first we wondered if we would be able to find our true heavenly family and estab-lish a Zion here. However, our God prepared all things like that.
Good Pillars Gained through Hundreds of Tryout Most Colombians believe in Catholicism. Even the government system is influenced by it. Let me give you some examples of this.
First, when a baby is born, he cannot be registered unless he is sprinkled with water in the Catholic Church. Second, when people buy or sell their houses, they need their baptismal certificates issued by the Catholic Church. Third, when they want to send their children to good schools, they also need their baptismal certificates as well as their marriage certificates issued by the Catholic Church; if not, they are imposed restrictions when they choose schools. Schools are also run by the Catholic Church and students grow under the influence of Catholicism from their chidhood.
The family of the sister living in New York was no different. Although her mother and her sister Sandra said they would study the truth, they were filled with fixed ideas and looked at us with strong skepticism. Her brother and his wife also came to Zion, but they turned back, saying, “I will never listen to the Word from an oriental person.”

Even though the truth is perfect, it was unfamiliar to them. How much strange would an Asian missionary be to them! However, I could not give up on their souls. I believed that God prepared them and their souls were more precious than the world.
Our Bible study continued for months. Just before the Passover, her mother and sister realized the importance of the Passover of the new covenant and participated in the feast of life after being born as the children of God.
From that time on, Sandra’s mother, despite her age, has been leading her friends to Zion, preaching the Word at the meetings of the elderly in her village. Sister Sandra is also preaching the gospel diligently to her friends and neighbors as a worker of God.
Her brother came to study the Bible again, upon hearing that his mother, who was so doubtful, received the truth; and His wife, who had no interest in any religion, invited us to her house and said that she wanted to study God’s word at the Church of God. All the people around her were surprised. No one had dreamed that she would say that, because she was so indifferent to religion. She is still continually studying the Word and boasting about the new covenant to her neighbors.
There is a proverb that goes, “Little strokes fell great oaks.” Here in Colombia I saw trees that would not fall down even though they were struck many times. They were deeply rooted in their fixed ideas and false doctrines.
However, I did not give up but tried doz-ens of times, hundreds of times, praying to God; then I was able to gain precious souls that would be parts of the heavenly Jerusalem Temple.
The Sharp Sword Cutting the Darkness At first, it is difficult for new comers to get rid of their fixed doctrines, but through the words of truth they throw away their old yeast, and want to live as the children of God.

Satan always hinders God’s children from having firm faith by using all schemes. He always taunts and reproaches God’s people. The situation is the same in Colombia. Those who showed kindness to us abruptly changed and began to malign the truth.
It is very painful, but this misfortune turns into a blessing. Listening to other people’s lies, our new comers doubt at first, but soon the truth is shown through the words of the Bible, and they become more convinced. Afterwards, they study the words harder in order to comprehend the truth more correctly.
I too try to deliver the Word more accurately, because the power to overcome any obstacles comes from the Word.
What is most difficult for them to under-stand is the Spirit and the Bride. Although they agree the truth is right, many find it difficult to believe in the Spirit and the Bride with their heart.
Only through the word of God can they understand the Spirit and the Bride and believe in Them. Even if they try to deny the truth, the Bible clearly testifies to the Saviors of this age that they cannot help but acknowledge it. And through the videos, they are surprised to see heavenly Mother setting an example of sacrifice and service. Jesus came to serve us 2,000 years ago. In this age, heavenly Mother has come to lead many people to salvation by humbling Her-self and serving us. Watching heavenly Mother, our brothers and sisters are deeply touched.
Sister Sandra also shed many tears after she realized that the prophecy of the new Jerusalem could not be denied. She wrote a letter to Mother after she repented for doubt-ing Her. Now she cherishes the love and sacrifice of Mother in her heart. Tears wells up in her eyes at the mere mention of the word “Mother.”
False Signs and Wonders VS the True and Greatest MiraclePeople here go to church to receive physical blessings such as healing their sickness or to receive financial assistance. Therefore, even those who acknowledge the truth ask whether or not we heal the sick.
In Barranquilla there are many churches famous for performing miraculous signs and wonders. People form long lines throughout the night just to enter such churches. On TV, not only the religious channel but also the general channels always broadcast programs about such churches.
All the people are in utter darkness. In this situation, when we find a soul who is look-ing for the light, our joy cannot be described in words.
Sister Cielo had attended various churches and studied the Bible, but she decided not to go to any church until she found the true one. Then she heard the news about the new covenant and received the true God.
Her acquaintances, who thought that she would not attend church any more, were shocked and wondered what kind of church it was. They visited our Church and listened to the truth, and her husband and children were also very surprised.
She suffered persecution from her family who heard distorted stories about our Church and did not understand the truth. However, Sister Cielo fearlessly told them to respect her religion, and she has been walking the path of true faith up until now.
Upon hearing that her sister was studying the Bible with a missionary from Korea, Sis-ter Cielo’s physical sister, who was attending one of the churches that perform miraculous signs, visited her. She hesitated to begin a godly life because most Colombians liked to drink and dance.
We visited her after hearing from Sister Cielo that she wanted to study the words of God again. She was different than the first time; she listened to the words with an open mind and really wanted to celebrate the Passover. Finally, she was born as a child of God.
Many churches are performing visible miracles. However, as our heavenly Father said, the true and greatest miracle in the world is the new covenant leading us to eternal life through the flesh and blood of Jesus. The children of God want this life-giving miracle. Our duty is to find our brothers and sisters who are waiting for eternal life.
Saving One Soul Through the Unity of All Members Around the World ‘Where shall we establish Zion?’ We chose Medellin in the Andes. There God had already prepared a precious soul to be saved.
A brother in Miami delivered the truth to his cousin and niece who lived in Medellin by phone. The brother continually preached the words of God by phone or mail, and the two wanted to be born as the children of God.
We visited them in Medellin. As soon as we saw them, we felt like we had met our heavenly brothers. Just a minute after we arrived, a pastor and his wife from the Babylon church they had attended visited them. It was because they had been very devoted to the church but they didn’t show up on Sundays. They asked the pastor couple politely to go back, saying that they could not follow falsehood any more, and were born as the children of God right away.
After baptism, we shared the good news with them who were anxious to know the secret of the heavenly Jerusalem. We were having such a good time, unaware of how much time had passed by. Though we left the two sisters behind and returned to Barranquilla, they worshiped God in spirit and in truth there and spread the fragrance of Zion to us here.

Although we are scattered throughout the world, all our members in Zion are putting every effort to save one soul. This deeply moves my heart.
Recently, our Colombian family started Korean language classes. They like to learn Korean very much. At first, the Korean language seemed strange to them, but now, they are enjoying the classes.
Colombia was an unfamiliar land to us, but it had already been chosen by heavenly Father and Mother before the creation.
Our mission is to find our lost heavenly family. There are still our brothers and sisters somewhere in other cities in Colombia. Our earnest desire is to find and carry them into the arms of God as soon as possible.
Sometimes young kids make fun of us, calling us “Chino, Chino!” which is the word for Chinese people. Walking in the heat of 40 degree Celsius, sometimes we become worn out. And our hearts break when our brothers and sisters, who have just come into the truth, waver in faith by slan-derous lies.
However, whenever we face such difficulties, we are reminded of the sacrifice of our heavenly Father and Mother: How hard it was when our Father sought us! How painful it was when our Mother prayed for our souls! Preaching the gospel in a foreign country, we feel Father and Mother’s love which is like a waterfall.
Whenever we encounter a difficult situation on the way of the gospel, if we think about how much our heavenly Father and Mother suffered for us, there is nothing we cannot overcome. Please pray for the broth-ers and sisters in Colombia. We will put all our strength in finding our lost heavenly family, following the path prepared by Father and Mother.
